The Brunswick Rail Board of Directors brings together people with a wide range of experience in strategic planning, financial markets and the transportation industry. The Directors seek to ensure that proper checks and balances are in place to serve the interests of all stakeholders, and that the management is accountable for its performance.   • Joined the Board of Directors of the Company in 2005
  • Mr. Andersson is currently also a member the Boards of Brunswick Real Estate International and Cabo Delgado Investments
  • In August 1993 Mr. Andersson became one of the co-founders of Brunswick Group and was appointed CEO of Brunswick Brokerage in November 1993
  • He subsequently became Chairman of Brunswick UBS Warburg in 1999. He also chaired the Boards of Directors of Brunswick Capital Limited (2002–2007) and Brunswick Rail Leasing (2005–2007)
  • From 1992–1993 he served as an advisor to the Privatization Committee at the Government of the Russian Federation
  • In 1990–1992, Mr. Andersson worked as a consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton in Mergers & Acquisitions
  • Graduated from the Stockholm School of Economics in 1989 and HEC Paris in 1990
Gerard De Geer
  • Joined the Board of Directors of the Company in 2006
  • Has been a member of Advisory Board of Sveafastigheter, a Swedish property fund since 2006;
  • Became the director and owner of Sarastro Group of Companies with investments in Europe, China, Thailand and Russia since 2005
  • Was a founding partner and chairman of Brunswick Group, with investments predominantly in emerging markets including financial services, information technology, oil and publishing from 1993 to 2007
  • During 1970s-1980s chaired a number of banks and financial groups and companies (Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken, Stockholm, Hambros Bank, London, Skandinaviska Enskilda Limited (Enskilda Securities) London, and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) Stockholm)
  • During 1990s worked as consultant at MOM Consulting SA, Switzerland, offering consulting in Eastern Europe and in particular Russia. Appointed as Personal Advisor to A. Chubais, the first Deputy Prime Minister, during the initial stages of the mass privatisation programme in Russia

Charles Ryan
  • Charles Ryan’s distinguished financial career combines top level expertise and deep knowledge of both Russian and international markets
  • Mr. Ryan began his professional career in 1989 with CS First Boston, where he was a Financial Analyst
  • From 1991 to 1994, Mr. Ryan was an Associate and Principal Banker with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London, where he played a crucial role in the city of St. Petersburg’s privatization program for industry and real estate
  • In 1994, Mr. Ryan co-founded the United Financial Group, an independent investment bank in Moscow. UFG Asset Management was founded as part of the United Financial Group in 1996
  • In 2005, when Deutsche Bank acquired 100% of UFG’s investment banking business, Charles Ryan was appointed as the Chief Country Officer and CEO of the Deutsche Bank Group in Russia. He stepped down as the CEO of Deutsche Bank in Russia in September 2008 and in October 2008 became the Chairman of UFG Asset Management. In addition to his role as the Chairman, Mr. Ryan is also responsible for the overall management of UFG's private equity business

Nicolas Pascault
  • Nicolas Pascault joined the Brunswick Rail Group in 2004 as Managing Partner and CFO
  • In January 2015 Mr. Pascault assumed the position of Deputy CEO, reporting directly to the Chairman, and was asked by the Board to support a bond restructuring
  • After the departure of the previous management team in October 2015, Mr. Pascault became First Deputy CEO
  • Prior to joining the Group Mr. Pascault served for six years as CFO of Danone Group in Russia
  • Prior to this, he worked for eight years at Ernst & Young in Moscow, St. Petersburg and Paris in the Audit and Corporate Finance Department
  • Mr. Pascault graduated from the Institut d’Etudes Politiques of Paris and has a Master of Finance from the University of Paris II
Aaron Rubin
  • Joined the Board of Directors in 2014
  • Aaron is the Chief Executive Officer of Macquarie Russia & CIS Infrastructure Fund (MRIF). MRIF manages $630 million of committed capital and targets investments in energy,transportation and a variety of other essential services sectors
  • The Fund’s investments to date have included companies involved in electricity generation and distribution, railcar leasing and telecommunication towers
  • Aaron has worked for Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets for five years, initially joining Macquarie’s North American team based in New York before moving to Moscow to assume the leadership of MRIF. In North America, Aaron was responsible for leading acquisition teams and managing portfolio investments across a variety of infrastructure sectors
  • Prior to joining Macquarie, Aaron worked for JPMorgan in its North American Mergers Acquisitions team, where he advised clients on the execution of a large number of M&A transactions
  • Aaron was educated at the University of Queensland in Australia, where he earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees in accounting and finance, as well as his law degree
